Bathurst Vets golf report for Monday, April 22
Hi everyone,
A good field of 32 Bathurst vets played the usual Monday vets’ golf competition on April 22. There was some early fog, but it soon lifted, and when the Sun came out, we were greeted by another gorgeous autumn day. A perfect golf day.
On to golf results
Trevor Kingham was the best player on the course today playing two very consistent nines of 19 and 20 points to easily take out first place with 39 points.
A countback was required to decide second place when Donald Hinks and Colin Jamieson both returned cards of 36 points. Colin played consistent golf for two equal nines of 18 points, but after a scratchy start, Donald came home with a wet sail to score 20 points on the back nine to relegate Colin to third place. Tony Farr took out fourth place with 35 points.
The ball sweep went down to 30 points and the nearest to the pin winners were Graham Lee on the 4th, Chris Hadson on the 8th and 13th and Gyn Daunt on the 16th.
