Bathurst Golf vets report for Monday October 28


Hi everyone,

 A good field of 40 Bathurst veteran golfers took part in Mondays’ vets comp. The weather was perfect for golf with lots of sunshine and very little wind to complain about.

The winner on the day with Simon Dundon with a very good score of 39 points. The very consistent Bill Lambert put on another good game of 38 points to claim second place on a countback from James Johnson who had to settle for third place. The fourth place went Martin Everett on a count back from David Gates and Michelle Kingham all having the very good score of 37 points.

The ball sweep went down to 31 points on a countback and the nearest to the pin winners were Garry Pomeroy on the 4th, Don Hicks on the 8th, Simon Dundon on the 13th and Dick O’Donnell 16th.

Next round of local vets will be on Monday, November 4.

I will be going on a golfing trip next week so it will be Thursday before you will get the golf report.

Next game of Central West vets will be at Blayney on November 4.

Blayney is a walk up start so get there between 8:00 and 9:00am to get a game.
