Bathurst golf vets report for game March 10
Hi everyone,
Some housekeeping to start with, could the last group please pick up the nearest to the pin markers and return them to the Proshop or put them in the ball sweep box so that we can let you know who the winners are on the reports.
On to golf.
Another great day of Bathurst vets golf with 43 starters taking part in today’s game.
Best on the golf course was David Travis with an excellent score of 41 points. David started his round with 21 points on the front nine and continued his solid form with 20 points on the back nine.
Second was Colin Jamieson with 38 points. Colin had a slow start with 17 points on the front nine but he soon made-up ground on the back nine with 21 points.
Third place went to Bob Lockhart with 37 pints. A countback was required to decide fourth place when Justin Hadley, Graham Lee and Kerry Maher all returned scores of 36 points. The computer gave Justin the fourth-place voucher with Graham and Kerry having to settle with a ball on the ball sweep.
The ball sweep went down to a very generous 31 points and the nearest to the pin winners were Mick Selman on the 4th, Paul Stirling on the 8th, Glyn Daunt on the 13th and Bob Lockhart on the 16 th.
Next game of Bathurst golf vets will be on Monday, March 17.
Next game of Central West will be at Wentworth on Monday March 17. This is the catch-up game for the rained off game on February 10.
You will need to call the Wentworth Proshop on 6361 4505 to get a starting time and hire a cart.
