Bathurst Golf Vets report for October 16

Hi everyone,

A good field of 34 vet golfers enjoyed a game of Monday vets golf with some very good scores considering the windy conditions.

Best score of the day was returned by Steven Thompson, a reasonable new comer to Mondays vet’s golf with a score of 41 points. Second was the very consistent Graham Tyson with 38 points. Third was Paul Smith with 37points and fourth place went to Geoff Marshall, another new comer to vets golf, with 36 points.

Someone who needs a welcome back mentioned is Stephen Ousby who had a score of 35 points on his first day back to vets golf for quite a while. It is good to see you back Stephen.

 The ball sweep went down to 31 points and the nearest to the pin winners were Graham Tyson on the 4th, Phil Pittaway on the 8th, Alan Mostyn on the 13th and Stephen Ousby on the 16th.

I will not be available all of next week so chances are that the golf report for October 23 will be very, very late.

The next Central West vet’s game will be at Bathurst on October 30th. It will also be the AGM for 2023 which will be your opportunity to bring up any issues you may have regarding the running of the association. The President’s, Treasurer’s and Secretary’s reports will be sent out later in the week.
