Bathurst Golf vets report for Monday March 11

Hi everyone,

A good field of 37 Bathurst vet golfers which included a group of ladies playing Monday vets golf for the first time, enjoyed a very pleasant golf day.

The ladies certainly showed the boys how to play the course when Sue Waddell and Jane Williams took out first and second place with scores of 36 points. Peter Warren also had 36 points, but he had to settle for third place on a countback. Word is that Peter being the gentleman that he is, he offered Sue and Jane first and second place. Believe that at your peril.

Bill Lambert took out fourth place with 35 points.

The ball sweep went down to 29 points and the nearest to the pin winners were Jane Williams on the 4th, Richard Ellis on the the 8th and 16th and Alex Smith on the 13th.

Next game of Monday vets golf will be on Monday, March 18

On Monday March 25 we will have a visit from Central West vets. Cost for the game will be $30 which will include morning tea on arrival and a light lunch at the end of the game.
