Bathurst Golf vets report for game played Monday August 26

Hi everyone,

On a very low scoring day anyone of 10 players could have taken out first place with only 2 points separating first to tenth place. Once they see the results, quite a few players will be lamenting the missed putts or the bad shots that might have cost them a winning voucher.

As they say in the classics the cream always comes to the top and so was the case today when Darrell Bourke’s 18 points on the back nine was enough to take out first place on a count from Graham Lee 2nd (16 points on back nine) and Alex Blackett 3rd ( also 16 points) all returned scores of 32 points.

The ball sweep went down to 29 points. The nearest to the pin winners were No one on the 4th, Peter Chaffey on the 8th, Darrell Bourke on the 13th and Ted Healey on the 16th.

Next game of Central West vets will be at Canowindra on Monday, September 2

Canowindra is a walk up start so be there between 8:00 to 9:00 to get a game. You can call David Carman on 02 6344 1342 to book a cart but get in early as they have limited numbers.
