Bathurst Local vets report for game played Monday, January 6

Hi everyone,

A very good field of 39 Bathurst vets golfers got the ball rolling for the first comp game of local vets in 2025. 

Best on the field today was Colin Jamieson with an excellent score of 42 points. Colin had a brilliant start to his round scoring 23 points on the front nine that included a birdie on the 8th. He continued to play solid golf scoring 19 points on the back nine.

Danny Goolie was second with a very good score of 40 points. Danny had a steady front nine of 18 points that included 2 pars, and he came home with a wet sail on the back nine for 22 points that included six pars.

Peter Heffernan got third with 39 points, Richard Ellis was fourth with 38 points and Dean Fidirikkos completed the voucher winners list with 36 points.

The ball sweep went down to 30 points and the nearest to the pin winners were Doug Collins on 4th, Stephen Ousby on the 8th, Brian Little on the 13th and newcomer to local vets golf David Galvin on the 16th.

From now on, voucher winner will also get a ball so don’t forget to check out the ball sweep list and cross out your name when you collect the balls. 

Next game of Bathurst local vets will be on Monday January 13

Next game of Central west vets will be at Oberon on Monday January 13.

Oberon is a walk up start so get there between 8:00 and 9:00am to get a game. If you need a cart, you can call the club on 02 63 360 262 during business hours.
